Sitting in the Anthro Lab...supposed to be studying for my last anthro quiz...how fitting

Disclaimer: I can't spell. I have horrible grammar. I still get better grades on papers than you do.

Good news and bad news. Bad news is...season is over. Good news is...season is over.  So strange now that I don't have lacrosse to complain about. Even more strange that the next time I play with this team we'll be playing with a new group of freshmen.  The 7 senoirs who've I've spent the last three seasons with are all leaving. This is just weird, since they practically define DWL to me and to much of my team.  They'll be missed.
I suppose I could read my last post to pick up where my weekends left off but I'm far to lazy and even more technologically incompetent. The rents came last weekend to see me play some lacrosse...15 minutes into the game it started to storm. Great, my rents got to see 15 min of me playing lacrosse and I got a mid week make-up game to play.  The rents were hilarious as usual. When they weren't argueing about drinks or nagging me about grades or lacrosse they were making totally inappropriate but completely hilarious jokes.  It's hard to determine how I came out so normal. We went out to dinner and on the way home and I got my dad to take his first trip through the brew through. As we were slowly creeping through my mother began saying "We're going to get pulled over David, get the hell outta here." My dad was just in awe of the mountains of beer surrounding him.  He bought me two cases. aw yeah diddy. One of the cases was of Stella Artois, great beer. My mom thought it would be a good idea to buy a nice case of beer bc in case the cops decided to pull us over they wouldnt be able to tell who the beer was for without some thorough detective work. That sort of genius comes from 20 years in the public defenders office.  That rest of the night was mediocre at best.
We had a tues and wens game the following week. This would have been totally fine if my 8pg paper was due that thurs like it assumed it was. Taryn, the god send that she is, reminding me on monday that the paper for our class was not due that thurs but rather that tues. Great, I have an 8 page paper to write and I don't even know what topic to choose. After lacrosse I started my paper...and finished it at 8 am the next morning. It was 10 pgs of bullshit that sounds pretty and hopefully made sense. I would have been done at 4 that morning but after I printed out the rough draft I Xed out of the computer one and didn't save it. So, after correcting my rough draft and going to the comp to make some quick revisions I realized that it was no longer on the screen and I could not find it anywhere on the computer. That was awesome because then I got to retype the entire 10 pages that I had just pulled together over the last 8 hours. awesome. so awesome.
The game on tues was like an out of body experience. I was moving in slow motion but everyone else was not. I managed to double my turnovers for the season in that one game. go me.
Wens game was only slightly better.
Though both games were a win so I don't feel as bad about it.
Wens, instead of going out like I usually do, I got to watch the wire in Sean's room for roughly three hours. Yep, on 4/20, I watched the Wire season 2 in KW tower A for 3 hours. just to clarify.
This past sat we had senior day and played f and m.  I wore powerbuns. We lost....end of season. Weird. Whats the first thing I do?  pop open a beer start my laundry and wait for the night to unfold. Stevie May and Juliani came over and we hung out in the bathroom for a while (seasons over, no rules apply, please use context clues) after that Stevie and Juliani went to formal while May spent 15 min making fun of me because I couldn't stop laughing. I fell asleep 30 min later and woke up at midnight. drank a few beers with the roomies tried for a second push to go out then passed out again.  Great sat night.

Easter Sunday! the first easter sunday I wasn't too hungover to attend the Clarks Easter Egg Hunt. Though my poor performance in the hunt was a bit shameful I do have rookie status on my side.

Spring Time in Carlisle for Dickinson.

I Haven't Been Busy, I've Just Been Lazy...

Disclaimer, my hiatus from blogging did nothing to improve my grammar or spelling. My tosiba still lacks basic 21st century technology.

The last few weeks are hazy to say the least not because I've had an exceptionally good time, but mostly because I just don't think that much of it is worth remembering. We've continued our impressive losing streak at lax and I've been starting games....I really hope that those two don't go hand in hand.

sooo I have two weekends too relate here, good thing nothing exciting happens in my life so this should not be a difficult task.  Where shall I begin, two weekends ago I guess or maybe this was three weekends ago? Shit, time... Anyways, I feel like I found myself at another frat party...and the frat that I usually do not attend..things change a little bit now and then I guess. There's three floors in this house, and theres a bathroom on the top two. So, I was with some bitties that knew about the bathroom on the third floor so I decided to skip the line and pretend like I'm a big fucking deal and can go where ever I want and we went the the lineless bathroom on the 3rd floor.  I don't remember who I was with and I don't remember who was walking down the stair with me but I do remember slipping and my ass literally hitting every stair on the way down to the 2nd floor. All those people I passed up because I was too good to wait in line on the 2nd floor  had the pleasure of witnessing this lapse of grace and came to help me. Apparently I sat there silently for a few seconds before getting up and walking away from the worried and entertained bystanders without saying anything.  The next morning I had quite a impressive set of bruises on my backside. Cute. Sio was at the party as well and we got to hang out for once...that was interesting "Is this Ella?!" "Yeah Siobhan, it's me." "Good! I can't see you..."
Alright, one weekend down, one more to go. Hold you're horses.

This past weekend....we had a game against WAC in Maryland, it's a 3 hour drive which means we had to wake up at 6:45 which is just the greatest. We went to the Moore's house after, most precious family with like acres of land on some amazing river. Food was great, I love it when the bus driver joins the team tailgates. Watched a little bit of the masters and got to drive home with Taryns mom in the rental car. We took sideroads all the way through Maryland....with speed limits varying from 25-45 so it was likely not the quickest route. We were cruising until we got pulled over by a cop who wasn't even in a car. How does that happen? He was honestly standing in the road and waved us down while his partner stood on the side of the road with a raider gun in a stance like he was about to shoot a predator. I feel like I would have just kept driving but Taryns mother is a sweet heart and a law abiding citizen.  We got off with a warning and I assume it's only because the cop didnt know how to figure out how to ticket a rental car. Got home late, jumped in the shower with my good friend Natty Light and the night began....and ended with nothing in between worth relating.

Wens night sio and the gang came over and Margot had some peeps over as well I'm not sure how this came to be but i one point I was standing outside with stevie sio and Monique Patricia (yes) and we were working on the rap that Sio had made up the previous sat. the only lyrics are "she goes to church but she fucks. what what?!" masterpiece.

Evan then played pong with Monique, take a moment to picture the two if you know them....

fast times at dickinson high.
